The Chestnuts Riding School has the best hacking in Sussex. Despite being situated on the A23 (which is really easy to get to from Brighton), we have road free hacking for miles around us, access to one of the main Bridlepaths takes less than 10 minutes. From the "Top Field" you can see for miles around, the Indian Memorial (The Chattri) is in the same field if you know of this. All of our Hacks have an experienced Escort, who will take you along a popular hacking route, many hacking routes vary in speed, so we will choose one for the groups riding ability. The limiting factor is always time, we offer 1, 1.5 and 2 hour hacks for our clients. Unlike our Indoor School, the Weather is a factor, typically we run more hacks during the Summer than the Winter months, not many people enjoy rides during downpores, and the same goes for Horses and Ponies.
